William A. Truslow

From Bob Truslow ’58 – My older and wiser twin brother, Bill Truslow, died in early December leaving me an only child at only 85. After three years of eventful destroyer duty in the Navy, Bill attended Harvard Law School and then practiced corporate law with Davis Polk in New York before moving to Cambridge in 1968 where he developed an illustrious trust and estates and trustee practice in Boston with a fascinating portfolio of clients. His fine writing skills honed at the Yale Record were refocused into fashioning legal prose that in its clarity and cogency was actually a pleasure to read, and his care and concern for his clients was unsurpassed. He served as a director or chairman of numerous non-profit boards.
