Mr. Rosow age 87, a long-time resident of Yountville, died November 24, 2023, in Yountville, CA. He was born July 5, 1936, in Kansas, MO. He was the first generation American. The son of Mr. Harry Rosow and Ida Walters Rosow (later Ida Gould).

After graduating from Yale University (BA in Labor Economics) and the Law School of the Ohio State University (JD), Mr. Rosow served as a Special Agent in the Military Intelligence Branch of the US Army.

Upon his discharge, he entered the practice of Law in Chicago, IL where he was a trial lawyer. He then joined the Actuarial and Benefits Consulting firm, Hewitt Associates, becoming an early Partner. Challenged by a friend at the age of 40, he became an avid motorcyclist. Traveling on two wheels gave him the opportunities to see the world from a close up and personal perspective. He was fascinated by the adventure of Motorcycle Touring… experiencing the sighs, sounds and the smells of the lives of people around the world. He traveled the US, Canada, Europe, South and Central America, Southeast Asia, China and stopovers in between. These trips gave him the opportunity to sample the culture, food and wines of many places… to learn about the people of the earth.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura, and a son, Gregory.
